Do you like having a fun time and raising money for a good cause? We thought so! Well have we got some great news for you. We’re kicking off our Giving Tuesday #ChipIn fundraising events on November 9 with an evening of games at the Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club, and you’re invited.
Grub Street describes the Royal Palms as a “7,000-square-foot, seventies-Palm Beach-themed extravaganza” and we couldn’t think of a cooler place to host this fundraiser. Tickets for the event, which takes place from 4pm to 7pm, cost $25 and include a drink and hours of shuffleboard fun.
Every pair of tickets we sell will raise enough money to pay for 15 meals at our soup kitchen. Homeless rates in New York are rising, so we expect it to be a busy year and any help we can get will go a long way.
