CHiPS Honors Franciscan Sisters with Room Naming Campaign

Today, on the Feast of Blessed Mary Frances Schervier, for whom our Frances Residence is named, CHiPS is excited to announce the Frances Residence Room Naming Campaign

A donation of $5,000 will give the donor the opportunity to name one of the nine apartments or the common kitchen in our Frances Residence in memory or honor of a loved one. Contributions will go toward making much-needed updates to the Frances Residence apartments and kitchen.

On Mother’s Day 2017, CHiPS will hold a Naming Ceremony. We will also be dedicating the entire second floor of our building to the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor, who helped CHiPS found the Frances Residence program more than 20 years ago and have supported CHiPS tremendously over the 45 years we have been in operation. Their commitment to serving the needy inspires us every day.

We hope that you will also be inspired to join in supporting the work we do to provide safe shelter and opportunity to young mothers and infants.
